The Handphibians are a vibrant group of Madison-based musicians dedicated to playing and promoting Brasilian-style percussion.

Golpe Tierra are a guerilla-style ensemble and employs the traditional Afro Peruvian guitar-bass-cajón set-up (with woodwinds) and embarks on a musical journey throughout Latin-America flirting with shades of jazz, soul and blues playing original and traditional music.

Drum Power teaches youth leadership through learning West African, Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian drumming and dance.

Panchromatic Steel Band are Madison’s homegrown steeldrum band. Authentic island calypso, jazz, and familiar hits played on steelpans and accompanied by a smokin’ rhythm section.

Marcus de Jesus began his studies on the instrument at the age of ten, having his father as one of his first teachers. The Brazilian guitarist has strong roots in classical guitar, Brazilian jazz and a variety of other styles.
